Dear 7th Grade Families, it's time to prepare for 8th grade!

  Join us for Transition Week at Orange Preparatory Academy of Inquiry and Innovation.  

SCHEDULE BY SCHOOL:
• Monday, Feb 9 - Rosa Parks Community School
• Tuesday, Feb 10 - Lincoln Avenue
• Wednesday, Feb 11 - Cleveland Street & Forest Street
• Thursday, Feb 12 - Heywood Avenue, Park Avenue & Oakwood Avenue

 OPA I&I's Transition Program is for current 7th grade students to learn more about the school, its programs and expectations.

During the visit students will meet Principal Halstead, the administrative team, and other key staff members. The program will include an information session that introduces course programming, school routines, and expectations.

Students will also be given an opportunity to select their choice of elective(s) for the following school year! Please take time to watch our elective course offerings video below:
 
Students are asked to bring their Chromebook charged as they will be filling out a form to provide a first, second, and third choice elective course for their 8th grade year at OPA I&I.  

*Changes in course selections at the start of next school year will be limited and will require the Principal's approval. Choose the courses that you will enjoy the most and that align to your unique talents and interests.
